Dr. Glasgow discovered that NFIA expression in glia cells and motor neurons is regulated by distinct chromatin architectures. Currently we are addressing the mechanisms behind the 3D chromatin architecture driving expression of NFIA in motor neurons. In a broader sense we are also investigating the function of NFIA in motor neuron development.
